Our mission
Hampton Roads Community Coalition Inc. is a community-driven organization dedicated to empowering neighborhoods through education, advocacy, outreach, and access to vital resources.
Our mission is to support and uplift underserved and disadvantaged communities by providing programs, partnerships, and initiatives that improve quality of life, increase community engagement, and promote long-term sustainability.
Our staff & volunteers
We are committed to advancing environmental justice by educating residents about environmental issues that directly impact their health, homes, and neighborhoods. Through workshops, public awareness campaigns, youth engagement, community partnerships, and outreach initiatives, we help communities better understand topics such as:
- Environmental health and safety
- Flooding and climate resilience
- Air and water quality
- Stormwater and pollution prevention
- Community preparedness and sustainability
- Green workforce and youth leadership opportunities

HRCCI believes every community deserves equal access to clean, safe, and healthy environments regardless of income, background, or zip code.
We work alongside residents, schools, local organizations, community leaders, and government partners to create meaningful solutions that bring awareness, resources, and positive change to the Hampton Roads region and beyond.
