Hampton Roads Community Coalition Inc. offers internship and practicum opportunities for qualified students seeking hands-on experience in community service, outreach, nonprofit leadership, and environmental justice initiatives.
Internship and practicum placements are offered annually, based on agency needs, project availability, and organizational capacity.
Application Periods
HRCCI accepts applications during the following periods:
Fall Semester: April–May
Spring Semester: October–November
Intern and Practicum Student Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be enrolled in or referred by an affiliated institution
- Be enrolled in a degree or certification program
- Complete the HRCCI internship application process
- Be selected by an HRCCI administrative representative
- Complete all required HRCCI orientation and training within the designated timeframe

HRCCI currently partners with students from the following institutions:
- The College of William & Mary
- Christopher Newport University
- Hampton University
- Old Dominion University
- Norfolk State University
- Regent University
